To all members of the Cleveland area Actors' Equity Community,

I wanted to let you all know that changes to the Special Appearance Contract
were approved at the June 26 council meeting at Actors' Equity!

In Level 1, actor salary was raised from $175 to $200, and stage manager
salary from $200 to $240.  Box office potential was raised from $4000/week
to $6000/week.  Level 2 actor salary was raised from $250 to $300; stage
manager salary from $300 to $360.  Box office potential was raised from
$10,000 to $15,000/week.  In both levels the overtime rate changed from
$6.50/ 1/2 hour to $7.50/ 1/2 hour; the per diem was raised from $15 to $20.
All other terms and conditions remain the same. These changes will go into
effect on 9/3/07 and will remain in place for three years, at which time
they will then be reconsidered for increases.
