TNT Presents 24 Hour Theatre Experiment
NILES- Trumbull New Theatre is going to have its most chaotic event ever! T=
NT is presenting 24 Hour Theatre!=20
What is 24 Hour Theatre? The experiment begins Friday, August 3 at 7:30pm (=
auditions begin at 8pm). Each actor is expected to prepare a one-minute mon=
ologue. The predetermined directors and writing staff will then handpick th=
eir teams. After all teams are made; the directors and actors will go home =
for the night. Each writing team will write a 10-15 minute play to be stage=
d, rehearsed, and performed in front of an audience the next day. The perfo=
rmance is Saturday, August 4 at 8:00pm - Just 24 hours later! The actors an=
d directors spend Saturday getting acquainted with the script as it unfolds=
 on Saturday night in front of a live audience (in a completed state or not=
!) It puts experts and newbies on the same playing field, providing nearly =
instant gratification for all. It's like the creative process on speed!
If you are interested in acting and able to commit all day Saturday, meet u=
s at 7:30pm Friday, August 3 at Trumbull New Theatre at 5883 Youngstown-War=
ren Rd in Niles. The cost to participate for writers, actors, and directors=
 is $5 which includes a t-shirt and food on Saturday.

Anyone interested in watching the final projects are welcome to be a part o=
f the audience Saturday, August 4 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $3 for all audienc=
e members. We will also be collecting can foods/non-perishable food items f=
