LIGHTING DESIGNER=20
JOB DESCRIPTION=20
- Responsible for design, installation and operation of the lightin=

and special=20
effects used in the production=20
- Attend weekly production meetings=20
- Attend script analysis and conceptual meetings with Director and=20=
=20
production team members=20
- Selection of lighting instruments, color palette=20
- Provide lighting plot to production team=20
- Pick and demonstrate gel colors to production team=20
- Attend rehearsals to get familiar with staging of production=20
- Meet production schedule deadlines for hang, focus, cue to cue et=
c=20
- Provide cue sheets=20
- Train lighting crew: board, spot operators, patch operators etc=
=20
- Instruct lighting crew in =E2=80=9Clighting check=E2=80=9D procedu=
res for all=20
performances=20
- Rent and buy equipment as authorized by Tech Director=20
- Pick up and return equipment as needed in collaboration with Tech=
