Brooklyn Boy by Donald Margulies

Directed by Bob Belfance

Bob most recently directed Over the Tavern for Weathervane Playhouse
(his 190th production at the helm) and has directed productions
including several for the Akron Jewish Community Center (now Shaw JCC),
DIVAS, DAMES AND DOLLS (a musical that he authored, produced &
directed), A SHAYNA MAIDEL, LOVE LETTERS and A TZIMMES (a compilation of
Jewish humor and wisdom containing the works of Sholom Aleichem and
other Jewish writers)=20

Jewish theatre is returning to the JCC! Brooklyn Boy, by Donald
Margulies, will be performed this fall; auditions are August 12 and 13
at the Shaw JCC. We've got roles open for four men, ages 20s-70s, and
three women, ages 20s-40s.   Auditions will be cold readings from the
script. If you would like to look at the script in advance, copies are
available at the Shaw JCC.

Performance of Brooklyn Boy will be October 20, 21, 25, 27 and 28. (no
rehearsals or performances on Friday evenings or holidays)
