Red {an orchestra} Launches Sixth Season

Season to feature Red musicians, a returning favorite, and a world-=20
renowned Oscar winner

Cleveland, Ohio - Red {an orchestra} launches its sixth season on =20
October 20, 2007 by continuing its mission of blending the tradition =20
of classical music with innovation.  This season Red begins with =93Red =20=

Light: Stop & Listen=94, a concert that will turn the spotlight on the =20=

fine musicians of Red {an orchestra}.  Red will follow with =93A Red =20
Solstice=94, a return of an audience favorite for the holidays.  The =20
season will close with a very special concert =96 =93Red presents: Tan =20=

Dun=94 - featuring Red=92s first guest conductor, the Academy Award =20
winning Tan Dun.

With their unique blend of innovation and tradition, Red is =20
broadening and diversifying audiences for orchestral music.  Focused =20
on attracting audiences through grass roots marketing, Red is a =20
significant contributor to the region=92s revitalization and retention =20=

of young professionals.

Under the direction of Artistic Director and Conductor Jonathan =20
Sheffer=92s baton, Red {an orchestra} will present concerts throughout =20=

Cleveland.  In announcing this new season, Jonathan Sheffer stated, =20
=93I'm looking forward eagerly to the 2007-2008 season of Red. It =20
contains some terrific new programs that I'm anxious to share with =20
our Cleveland audience, and points us in a new direction with new =20
venues and new artists coming to work with us. Red's artistic growth =20
continues unabated for the sixth year in a row!"

Red will host a kick-off party to introduce audiences to the new =20
season.  The event will be free of charge and will feature a special =20
performance, remarks by Jonathan Sheffer, and a presentation of the =20
season.  The event will be held at SPACES Gallery, 2220 Superior =20
Viaduct, in Cleveland at 6:00 PM on September 20, 2007.

The sixth season includes three concert programs, with two =20
