Royalton Players will be holding auditions for the production of  The Last =
Christmas Carol this Sunday August 26 and Monday August 27 at 7pm.  This wi=
ll be the northern Ohio premiere of this musical, which was written by two =
Ohioans, one of which was born and raised in Medina. There are many feature=
d roles, both singing and non-singing, with flexible cast from 15 to 44 act=
ors.  The lead roles are as follows:

Brodwyn Branson: jaded  director of theater,company male 30-60'sMax Plimsol=
l: Branson's devoted assistant- female 20's 50'sBarbra Spanew: spunky homel=
ess girl 10-20Big Lou Bitterman: Branson's late somewhat disreputable agent=
, male or female 30's-60'sJ. Pilkington Burpee: Once influential critic and=
 ghost of christmas past- male or female 30's- 60's
Laverne Spreen: young sidewalk vendor, ghost of christmas present- female t=
eens-30.Newsie newspaper carrier and ghost of christmas yet to come: m/f te=
en's -30.
Blue Christmas- Bad Elvis impersonator and gohost of christmas never. male-=
 20's -50's.

All these lead characters have songs.  There are 35 other roles, including =
roles for children, that will be double or triple cast if need be. =20

Some of the featured roles are not gender specific, so there is great flexi=
bility  in casting. The show will be run from November 30 through December =
15th. Rehearsals will begin in mid-October. Singers please bring sheet musi=
c for your audition.  You may also be asked to sing the music from the show=
. Otherwise, the audition will be cold readings from the script. Auditions =
are held at the Royalton Players's home at the Edwin S. Griffith Masonic Te=
mple, 6320 Royalton Road, in North Royalton (across from Arbys). For additi=
