Strange how we discover acting talent. We have been sand bagged and fed 
handsome leading men and women. The cream rises to the top after being churned at 
the bottom honing their skills. I have always watched the side kick or bit 
actor. They gained much versatility doing those parts. Do some research and look 
at a few... Bruce Dern, Clint eastwood, Dennis Weaver, The late Darren Mc 
Gavin. Paul Giamatti see him in Sideways also. 

One can't 'knock" the leading man/woman. Without them...there wouldn't be the 
need for the sidekick/bit actor.

If life imitates art.......there are people in ones life that 'play a major 
part/role." Then there's the counter person at the local grocery store that you 
might see once a month--a 'bit player'.

There are NO small parts...just small actors......... :)

The point I was trying to make in the original post.......

Our acting coach gave US a very challenging assignment. Full of GROWTH 
potential. Challenging and complex. I am very grateful for that opportunity.
