Another Cleveland Area Actor On  Broadway=20
Eryn Murman, a 2004  graduate of Magnificat High  School has just signed a=20
contract to appear in the  hit Broadway musical, Spring Awakening. The initi=
al =20
contract is for a ten week commitment. She will open in the show on Sept.  2=
1.=20
Eryn recently graduated  from Sheridan College in Toronto where she appeared=
=20
as Anita in West  Side Story, Celia in As You Like It, and Marie in Hello=20
Again.  =20
=E2=80=9CI found out about  Sheridan College through my work at Actors=E2=
=80=99 Summit,=E2=80=9D=20
Eryn said. Her  credits at Actors=E2=80=99 Summit include Picnic, A Child=
=E2=80=99s Christmas in=20
Wales (with her sister  Meryl), and The Roar of the Greasepaint, The Smell o=
f=20
 the Crowd (with Wayne Turney.) Other local performance assignments have =20
included: Cinderella (Cleveland Opera), It=E2=80=99s  a Wonderful Life (Clev=
eland Play=20
House), Music Man (Caine Park), and Bye  Bye Birdie & Joseph =E2=80=A6 Dream=
coat=20
(Playhouse  Square).=20
Eryn is a true triple  threat (actor, singer, dancer.) Sheridan College made=
=20
it official by giving her the  Musical Theater Program=E2=80=99s =E2=80=9CTr=
iple Threat Award.

In addition to her acting  assignments, she is the Assistant Artistic=20
Director and choreographer for  Metamorphosis Dance Company whose works reac=
h out to=20
the current generation much  as Spring Awakening does. Metamorphosis  Dance=20
Company performances have raised over $17,000 in the fight against  cancer.

"I am truly blessed to be able to perform in a show that I  believe in. The=20

early mentors: Heidi Glynias (The Dance Centre) and Lynnette  Guttmann (Voic=
