You're invited!

The Chancel Choir at Church of the Saviour in Cleveland Hts. would like
to invite interested singers to come and sing with us.

Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7:30-9:15 p.m.

Things start up on September 6 with the Chancel Choir's Annual Family
Potluck Supper at the church.

It is a great way to get acquainted.  Our first rehearsal will begin at
7:30 that evening.

The Chancel Choir is one of 10 choirs (children, youth and handbells) at
the church and sings regularly at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service
from September to June.

The choir sings a variety of music from Bach to spirituals, but trends
towards traditional music by 20th century composers.  We also present 2
concerts per season.  Recent repertoire has included Rutter's Gloria,
Mozart's Coronation Mass and Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb.  Last spring
we presented a concert called Music of the Americas in which we
challenged ourselves with a setting of The Lord's Prayer in Haitian
Kreyol and the Gloria from Misa Criolla.

welcome to come and try us for a few weeks (no obligation.) There are no
auditions.
