*THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO*

*The Marriage of Bette and Boo, *by Christopher Durang, brings together two
of the maddest families in creation in a portrait album of family life's
uncertainties and confusion. Bette and Boo are bereaved by miscarriages,
undermined by their families, separated by alcoholism, assaulted by disease
and mystified by their priest. Nonetheless, with the help of their only
surviving son, Matt, as narrator, they are seen with a poignant compassion
that enriches and enlarges this Obie Award(r) winning play.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for non-Kent State students, children
under 17 and Senior Citizens. All Kent State students are admitted free of
charge with a current student ID. For reservations, contact the Box Office
at 330-244-3348, Monday through Friday, 1 - 5 p.m. Performances take place
at 8 p.m. on September 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15. The matinee performances are
scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on September 9 and 16 the Kent State Stark Fine Arts
Theatre.
