I am looking for an individual or group who might be interested in =
producing an original play (musical) with a baseball theme.  It is =
history-based, and a central character is Hall of Fame pitcher Addie =
Joss, who pitched for Cleveland until his sudden death in 1911.  I wrote =
the script and lyrics and own the rights.

Next summer (probably in July), Cleveland will host the national =
convention of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR), of =
which I'm a member.  So I'm wondering if a theater group in or near =
Cleveland might be interesting in doing this play/musical, with one =
enthusiastic audience guaranteed (the conventions usually draw over 700, =
but all sessions and events are optional). =20

This play -- "Mornings After" -- has never been done on stage. Several =
years ago, a group of SABR volunteers (all amateurs) did a dramatic =
reading of "Mornings" before a small audience at the SABR national =
convention in Toronto, and it was very well-received.

Will be glad to send the script and/or synopsis to anyone interested.
