 About HadiaHadia's thirty-year career as a professional dancerbegan with e=
xtracurricular studies of classical, contemporary, jazz andMiddle Eastern D=
ance while completing her Theater Degree at theUniversity of British Columb=
ia, Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
Initially inspired by the legendary Badawia ofJordan, she continued with th=
e best instructors that the world ofMiddle Eastern Dance has to offer, incl=
uding Nadia Gamal, Dina, IbrahimAkef, Dr. Farideh Fahmy, Mona Said, Zohair =
Zeki, Raqia Hassan, IbrahimFarrah, Ahmad Jarjour, and the National Folklori=
c Company of Egypt(Kohmeya). =20
Although Middle Eastern Dance remains Hadia's first love, shecontinued to p=
ursue jazz and contemporary dance through intensivetraining with Les Ballet=
 Jazz de Montreal, as well as Phil Black, Luigiand Alvin Ailey of New York.=
 Hadia has also been drawn into the worldof flamenco.  For the past twenty-=
two years, this passionate andexplosive art form has remained her 'other' l=
ove. Hadia has also spentfifteen years studying African and Brazilian Dance=
, while Latin andPolynesian dance put the finishing touches on her exciting=
 career. =20
Hadia is an exquisite performer of impeccable quality, herextensive travels=
 and deep understanding of many forms of dance,combined with her thorough k=
nowledge of anatomy, kinesiology andphysiology make her an unparalleled mas=
ter instructor.  Her teachingskills blend careful disciplined technique, at=
tentive application torhythm and music and encouragement of artistic expres=
sion.  She has afullness and depth to her teaching that challenges, inspire=
