[NEohioPAL] Beck's "GREAT BOOKS" Auditions.... Funny Funny Men Needed!!!

Beck Center will hold auditions  for....
 
ALL THE GREAT  BOOKS (abridged)
by Reed Martin and Austin  Tichenor
 
Auditions will be by appointment only this coming  Wed. (Sept. 26th) and Thu. 
(Sept. 27th). Sign-up slots will be available from  5PM to 7PM both days.
 
We will be casting two men, though all three roles  are still unassigned. 
Local AEA actor Nick Koesters has been cast, role to be  determined.
 
This is one of the side-splitting sequels to "The  Compleat Wks of Wm Shkpsr" 
(abridged) by the Reduced Shakespeare  Company.
 
in "Books" 87 of the greatest works of literature  are put onstage in 87 
minutes. Beck seeks versatile comedic actors w/ improv  experience being a real 
plus.
 
If possible, please prepare one brief comic  monologue (90 seconds or less). 
Monologues are not a full requirement, as some  reading from the script will 
also take place.... but it is  desirable.
 
The three roles are:
 
The Professor (The local high school theatre  teacher--a fallen actor)
The Coach (A coach w/ occasional literary  skills--and a loud whistle)
The Student Teacher (Too cool for school... looks  scary in drag, but not 
                                       as scary as Coach)
 
Both Equity members and non-Equity members are  invited to audition.
 
Production dates are Nov. 16th thru Dec. 16th,  Fri/Sat/Sun ONLY.
 
Rehearsals will begin in early  Oct.
