What?<o:p></o:p>
Each Student will learn the process of selecting, rehearsing and performing appropriate monologues. They will learn techniques for interpreting the intentions of the playwright as they pertain to the overall message of the play, character development, the characters relationship to each other and the ”want” or “action” of their particular character. The goal is to learn the distinction between delivering their monologue within the context of the play and as a stand-alone audition piece, with techniques for both applications. An informal performance of the monolgues will be done for family and friends on the last day of class.<o:p></o:p>

Jean Zarzour<o:p></o:p>
is a 25 year veteran performer and instructor of Stage, TV, Voice Over, Radio and Film Acting, Movement and Improv. She has appeared in 
feature films with Joe Pesci, Mercedes Ruehl, Clint Howard, James Coburn and Rob Lowe and dozens of TV commerials, internationally.
