In this class... You'll see things you've never heard! The words we use make up as little as 5% of what we communicate to others. Body language, posture, a look a gesture or a raised eyebrow tell us so much more! Sign language is based on body movements; gestures; facial expressions; & other visual cues to form its words. By learning the fundamentals of deaf theatre & basic sign language, students will develop non-verbal communication skills such as movement for the stage, physicality, facial expression, gesture, & emotional honesty. An excellent class for students of all levels! Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills by rehearsing and presenting a final performance. Students will receive constructive feedback for their work.
