Weathervane Playhouse Announces

AUDITIONS - BY APPOINTMENT for

MOON OVER BUFFALO

Weathervane Playhouse will hold AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT for MOON OVER BUFFALO a comedy by Ken Ludwig. Auditions will be held at Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane (in the Valley off Merriman Road) on Wednesday and Thursday, October 17 and 18, starting at 7 p.m.

Auditioners are asked to select the character for which they will audition and prepare a short scene from the play.

Needed:

1 Man and 1 Woman age 40s or early 50s, strong comic skills & ability to physical humor

1 Woman 60+

2 Women age 20s or early 30s

2 Men age 30s

1 Man age 40s




Director for the production is Nancy Cates, Co-Artistic Director of the Ohio Shakespeare Festival which performs on the ground of Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. She is a member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers and has been honored with eleven variations of regional critics' awards for excellence in directing. For Weathervane she directed last season's All My Sons and, previously, Over the River and through the Woods, Gypsy, A Man for All Seasons, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Blithe Spirit and Communicating Doors.
