AUDITION NOTICE

STRONGSVILLE COMMUNITY THEATRE AUDITIONS

"A Child's Christmas in Wales" – the world premiere of an original
adaptation of the Dylan Thomas classic.  Combining original music with
new arrangements of ancient (and gorgeous) Welsh and English carols,
"A Child's Christmas in Wales" will bring to life the simple joys of
Christmas as lived and loved by a child.

Auditions to be held at the Strongsville Senior Center, 18100 Royalton
Road Strongsville, Ohio

Monday, October 1, at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October 2, at 6:30 p.m.

Adapted and directed by Ted Larsen.  Music direction by Allison Naso.

SHOW DATES:
November 30, December 1, 2, December 7, 8, 9, 2007
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
Rehearsals will begin on Monday, October 22, and will be held 3 days a
week (Mon, Tue, Thurs) for 3 weeks, and then 4 days a week until
opening.

PERFORMERS NEEDED:
The part of young Dylan has been cast.  All other roles are open, and
will be filled by audition.  There are parts for adults and children
aged 8 to 16.  NOTE: all parts are singing parts, and most parts will
need to be able to harmonize in 3-or-4 part harmony.  Accompanist will
be provided.
