[NEohioPAL] Auditioning men for Amahl chorus

Arts in the Cathedral will be presenting Gian Carlo Menotti's chamber opera Amahl and the Night Visitors  on Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 8 at 4:00 p.m.  

This 45 minute opera tells the touching story of a lame shepherd boy who lives in poverty with his widowed mother.  In the middle of the night a knock at the door announces a visit from the three Kings following the star in search of the Christ Child. Flustered, the mother sends Amahl to ask their neighbors to bring gifts and to dance for the Kings. An act of selflessness changes the lives of Amahl and his mother forever.

 WE NEED 2 ADDITIONAL BASSES AND 2 ADDITIONAL TENORS FOR THE SHEPHERD'S CHORUS.
Most rehearsals are on Thursday evenings or an occasional weekend until Production Week.  The cast is a friendly bunch and you will have fun.

 AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
1) One song of your choice, memorized in English (An accompanist will be provided, please bring music.)
