Echowood concert features flute, percussion

Flutist Virginia Steiger and percussionist Timothy Strelau perform
classical and global music as Echowood presents a recital on Sunday,
October 28 at Church of the Saviour in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. The
program begins at 3:00 p.m. 

Classically trained, professional musicians for over 25 years, Steiger
and Strelau each have Music Education degrees from Baldwin-Wallace
College. Steiger has a Master's Degree in Flute from the Cleveland
Institute of Music and is a member of the International Native American
Flute Association and the National Flute Association. Strelau has a
Master's Degree from The Ohio State University, and is a member of the
Percussive Arts Society and the Ohio Music Educator's Association.

The recital is free and open to the community. A free will offering will
be accepted. This recital begins the 12th season of Arts in the
Cathedral, providing cultural events, exhibits and workshops for the
greater Cleveland community. 

Church of the Saviour is located at 2537 Lee Road in Cleveland Heights,
one block North of Fairmount Blvd.  The church has plenty of free
parking and is handicapped accessible. ###
