“Save Darfur” Benefit Concert with 5 local bands and solo artists!
7:30-11 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, 2007
Church on the Rise, 3550 Crocker Rd., Westlake.
 
The musical and vocal entertainers will be: 
One Way 2 Worship; Amy Jo Scott; Jay T. Hairston II; 
The Minimum Requirements; and The Taller We Grow.
 
Admission: $5 in advance, $6 at the door.
Proceeds go to support refugee camps and food providers via the African
Union.
There will also be a raffle and items for sale.
 
The event will begin with a brief video 
(provided by the “Facing History and Ourselves” organization),
which will give an overview of the situation in Darfur.
