but unsuccessful novelist Eric Weiss,whose life
drastically changes when his new,autobiographically
based novel becomes a best-seller.
An outsider all his life,he suddenly finds himself on
the inside of everything:town cars,television
studios,a movie producer's office,and the Sunday
Best-seller list.
But as his career takes off,his personal life suffers.

nodding and giggling.
