Dave Van Gaasbeek, Director and Author of the Christmas play, The Christmas
Gifts, states that he needs male actors to fit the following parts:
There are six different stories intertwined and these actors can play more
than one part
Man, age 30-39 to be a sympathetic husband of a school teacher
Man, age 30-39 to be a teacher who resigns his position due to false
allegations
Man, age 40-50 to be the principal of the school
Man, age 25-30 to play a friend of a major league baseball player who is
sold on himself
Man, age 30-39 to be a sports fanatic who has a chance to see a football
game on Christmas Day
Man, age 18-20 to be a young man who will go to a peace vigil on Christmas
Day
Man, age 50-60 to be a man who visits and talks with a woman suffering from
delusions on Christmas Day
Man, age 30-39 to be a surgeon at a hospital on Christmas Day
Man, age 40-50 to be a father who has a son who is critically injured on
Christmas Day
2 men, age 20-29, who witness a hate crime on Christmas Eve
Man, age 40-50 who is Jewish and is the victim of a hate crime on Christmas
Eve
Man, age 30-40 to be the employer who must make a decision as to how to deal
with a hate crime and not make the perpetrator a martyr
Each story is between 10-15 pages long and the script is an easy read.
Rehearsals will be scheduled by each individual story instead of entire play.
Performance dates- December 7-9, 2007 and December 14-16, 2007

Canal Fulton, Ohio
Unless there is a cancellation by an actress, all female parts have been
cast.
