  Auditions will be held Monday, December 3rd and Tuesday, December 4th at Clague Playhouse for the light-hearted comedy, The Vows of Penelope Corelli by Richard Vetere and directed by Bill Modic.
   
  Auditions began promptly at 7:30 PM and readings will be from the script. Scripts are available at the box office Wednesday – Saturday from 1-6 PM. A deposit is required.
   
  Seeking 2 males and 2 females, working class Queens, N.Y. characters. The younger couple are 20-30’s and the older couple 40-50’s. 
   
  Performance dates are February 29 – March 23, 2008. Thursdays - Sundays
   
  "Strong-minded Penelope Corelli has been doing just fine with her daughter, Sheila, since Penelope’s husband, Sam, went out for a pack of cigarettes over 5 years ago and never came back. Things have brightened since Penelope hit the New York lottery for 53 million, making her the target of many local suitors, but she may secretly still love Sam. Charlie Sunshine, a Long Island event planner, is pulled in to help plan Sheila’s wedding to a local who is on the lam from the FBI, and gets drawn into the two ladies’ lives. As Sheila asserts her independence by moving out (to an apartment across the street), it is of course time for Sam to reappear from his life journey to explain why he ran off and to try to find a place in the lives of Penelope and Sheila".
