Madison and Unger are at it again! Only this time it's Olive and Florence! The CenterStage Theater Department at Walsh Jesuit High School presents its Fall dramatic production of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple, Female Version" November 15th at 7:00PM, November 17th at 7:30PM, with matinee performances on November 17th and 18th at 2:00PM in the school's newly renovated Theatre, located at 4550 Wyoga Lake Road, in Cuyahoga Falls.

Both male and female versions have been performed on Broadway, most recently with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick in the lead roles. Walter Mathau and Jack Lemmon starred in the original motion picture. The female version starred Sally Struthers and Rita Moreno. The comedic storyline is based around two divorcees who are now roommates. Olive's sloppiness destroys a room with the speed of a tornado while the hypochondriac Florence's obsession with cleanliness could be classified as psychotic!

The Walsh Jesuit High School Theatre has completed a massive renovation, and "The Odd Couple" and "The Odd Couple, Female Version" are the first theatrical presentations in the venue. The venue features all new lighting and sound, along with renovated seating and an enlarged backstage area.

Caroline Bach of Copley plays Florence, the female version of Felix and Elise Hapanowicz from Cleveland Heights plays Olive. Possibly even more outrageous are the Costazuela brothers, performed by Luke Hearty of Bedford, and Alex Coundourides of Brunswick. Rounding out the cast is Rachel Scarponi from Akron, Lauren Cole of Cuyahoga Falls, Leanna Lostowski of Kent, Angela Jozsa of Stow and Crystal Boykin of Brunswick.

Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and Senior Citizens groups. Senior group discounts are also available as well as for school groups. For more information on the upcoming production, you may email Mr. Banks at banksd at walshjesuit.org or to buy tickets, contact Mary Ann Wojtila at 330-330-562-8532 or mawojtila at adelphia.net or on the Walsh Jesuit High School website, www.walshjesuit.org .
