Cleveland IndieClub FREE Monthly Networking Meeting - November 18, 2007

 

After a small break, The Cleveland IndieClub (www.clevelandindieclub.com)
monthly meeting is back, with more shorts, more fun, and more spirtis!

 

The Cleveland IndieClub meets every month (usually the 3rd Sunday), free of
charge, for those who have the passion for making movies using film or video
(whether it is in acting, directing, producing, writing, lighting or any
other skill) and are looking for others who have similar interests.
Cleveland IndieClub is part of the national network with over 30,000
members, check out www.IndieClub.com for more information.

 

So, take a night out with us to mingle, network, socialize and share your
expertise with other local filmmakers as previously has proven that
IndieClub does work (example of collaboration works can be seen everywhere).
In our past meetings, over 65 people had participated, no attitude, no
drama, no ego allowed.

(The lounge is located in Public Square in the basement of the Sky Bank bldg
which is next to the Old Stone Church, please enter through the alley on the
left side of the bldg. 18+ (under age must accompanied by parents or
guardians.)

 

Guest Speaker: Christopher M. Ernst, Attorney at Law

Topic: Business Law for the Entertainment Industry

 

Mr. Ernst is a partner at Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP, he will
talk about Business Law for the Entertainment Industry..  Mr. Ernst is
recognized as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers, in the 2004 through 2006
Cincinnati Magazine, as voted by his peers.  In addition to practicing law
with the firm, he is also the the author of Baldwin? Ohio Practice: Tort
Law, published by West, the only comprehensive treatise on tort law
published for the state of Ohio. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of its
companion bi-monthly journal, Tort Law Journal of Ohio, and as administrator
of its companion blog, Tort Law Journal. And had articles published at many
publications. Mr. Ernst is formerly a professional musician.
