CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM PRESENTS THE REGIONAL PREMIER OF DEMON BABY, BY ERIN
COURTNEY, OPENING FRIDAY, NOV. 30 AT THE LIMINIS

convergence-continuum, closes its 2007 season at the Liminis theatre with
DEMON BABY by Erin Courtney. DEMON BABY is a perfect antidote for those
who are stressed out by the holidays, or those who have just had their
fill of the usual treacle and sugar-plum fairies. Either way, you can
laugh your cares away, and maybe get a little creeped-out too, at
convergence-continuum’s production of Courtney’s lighthearted dark comedy
about the stresses of jobs, displacement, fitting in and “making nice”
when you really don’t feel like it.

Wren and Art, are relocated to London, where Art becomes immersed in his
new corporate lifestyle. The previously outgoing Wren retreats into an
agoraphobic state, frozen by her fear until she is visited by a demon
baby. This impish gnome inspires Wren to try to connect in her new
surroundings, even if her attempts -- a seduction, a dinner party, and a
near-fatal game of pinata -- are bizarre and misguided. Comic and
surreal, DEMON BABY follows our whimsical screwball heroine as the demon
baby turns her loose in her small circle of power couples; and she stops
being a recluse and becomes a guided missile. (Please note that this show
contains adult content and is not suitable for children!)

DEMON BABY opens Friday, Nov. 30 and runs at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and
Saturdays through Dec. 22, at the Liminis, 2438 Scranton Rd., Cleveland,
OH 44113. Tickets are $12 general admission, $9 for students and seniors
(65+). For reservations and information call 216-687-0074 or visit
