THE ODD COUPLE OPENS AT CASSIDY THEATRE

Parma Heights - Oscar Madison and Felix Unger engage in hilarious verbal combat as the Cassidy Theatre presents The Odd Couple Jan. 18 through Feb. 3. Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $15 for adults and $14 for students and senior citizens and can be reserved by calling 440-482-4600.

What started out as a simple plotline: fastidious, hypochondriac moves in with slovenly sportswriter, has become an icon of American theatre since its debut in 1965. Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple has won three Tony Awards, became a movie, changed genders, morphed into not one but two prime time TV shows and even became an animated series.

Cassidy’s production, directed by Dan Sekanic, stars John Busser as “Oscar”, Greg Mandryk as “Felix” with Allison Naso and Ann Vander Schrier as the “Pigeon Sisters”, Brett Miller as “Murray”, and John Grad, Jonathan Kronenberger and Dave Holmes as the “Poker Buddies”.

Cassidy Theatre is located in the Greenbrier Commons, 6200 Pearl Road, Parma Heights. MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted. Advance reservations are strongly suggested and can be made by calling the Advance Sale Box Office at 440-842-4600 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between the hours or 9 a.m. and 4p.m. Handicapped Accessible.
