[NEohioPAL] Winter Art Festival Needs Vendors

On February 2, the City of Akron is sponsoring a Winter Art Festival at Lock
3 Park in downtown Akron.  The largest seasonal Ice Skating Rink will
celebrate its final weekend with an assortment of artists and art vendors
with creativity to admire and purchase.  Fine art, sculpture, ceramics,
jewelry, and textiles will fill the Lock 3 indoor Commons with a special
area for children's make it and take it projects.  The Saturday festival is
open to the public free of charge from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. with free parking in
the State Street parking deck.  Light concessions, German mulled wine, beer
and soft drinks are available for purchase.

We are currently seeking artists/vendors to diversify our offerings.
Pottery, sculpture, jewelry, textiles, fine art, books, photography, etc are
all welcome.  Art/Merchandise must be appropriate for a FAMILY FRIENDLY
ENVIRONMENT. 

We are also seeking acoustic musical performers to promote themselves with
short performances throughout the day.

Space for vendors (10 by 8 foot space with a 6 foot covered table and 2
chairs) is provided free of charge and is limited.  Vendors must be on site
from 10:15 am (set up) to 6 pm tear down.

All sales are the responsibility of the vendor.
