Dear Friends and Colleagues --
 
The NeohioPal list is invaluable to our theatre community.  We
subscribers have benefited tremendously from this free service and it
has become a vital component in the artistic life of each and every one
of us.   Each week the list gets bigger; new subscribers are added every
day.  
 
I personally know how much time, effort, and money it takes to get the
postings out to it's members.  But there are other costs involved that
subscribers might not be aware of.  They include the daily up-keep and
maintenance of the software as well as the daily operation of the site
itself.  After ten years of operation, the time and costs involved
really add up!
 
I always ask myself what would happen to the Cleveland entertainment
area if the list suddenly disappeared.  There are other such services in
other cities and each member pays a yearly subscription.  Fred's list
has helped you.  Now its our time to support the list. 
 
 
Do NeohioPal, Cleveland, Mr. Sternfeld and yourself a favor. Sacrifice
one Latte from Starbuck's, or one burger from the Rush and contribute to
the list.  And don't forget; depending on how much you give, that
contribution can be used as a theatre business expense at tax time.

NEohioPAL is now in it's tenth year of providing service to the
Performing Arts Community. 
 
Throughout it's history it has been free to all subscribers and posters
and will remain free. 
 
Last year at this time I sent out a request for voluntary financial
support and some of you responded with great generosity.  Thanks once
again to those who have supported NEohioPAL!  You can click on this link

of supporters.
 
There are many costs to run this list:  hosting fees, software,
equipment and time.  Expenses have gone up considerably as the fees from
the new hosting service (listserve.com) are four times more per year
than the previous service (hostway.com).  
 
Once again this year, I am asking you to consider giving voluntary
financial support to NEohioPAL. 
 
Some people have written to me asking to post to the list what amount
would be appropriate.  Historically, the contributions from individuals
have ranged from $10 to $100, and from organizations $25 to $200.
 
As you are deciding whether or not to give, please consider these
questions... 

What has been the value of NEohioPAL to your organization or career?  
Has it saved you money?  
Helped you get a job?  
Assisted in promoting your event, auditions, classes or camps? 
Kept you informed about happenings around town?
