SPONSOR:  The Chinese Academy of Cleveland (CAOC) is a non-profit
organization devoted to the exploration of Chinese language and tradition.
CAOC offers regular courses of Chinese studies for adults and children from
non-Chinese speaking families. Our curriculum provides beginners with
fundamental Chinese literacy skills and an understanding of the Chinese
culture.
 
SUMMARY: The Chinese Academy of Cleveland will hold a special “Year of the
Rat” Chinese New Year celebration event on February 9th 2008 at the Shaker
Heights Middle School on Shaker Boulevard at Warrensville Road). The program
will include more than 15 Chinese cultural performances, as well as a
Chinese dinner and beverages. Tickets are available for $10 every Saturday
Morning through February 2nd from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Shaker
Middle School Cafeteria. Tickets are limited and will not be sold at the
