BIG BAND PERFORMANCE:
  
 
  
Please join us for a big band performance featuring New York-based
clarinetist/saxophonist Ken Peplowski on Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at 7:30
PM at Garfield Heights High School's new Center for Performing Arts on
Turney Rd.  
  
 
  
Ken Peplowski, who has been compared to Benny Goodman, will perform big band
favorites along with the alumni big band, featuring other professional jazz
musicians as well.
  
 
  
We are also celebrating the retirement of GHHS band director Mike Shively
after a 30+ year career, during which time Mr. Shively directed an
international award-winning jazz ensemble, and the Bulldog Marching Band
that performed at many parades, sporting events, and community celebrations.
  
 
  
TICKETS:
  
 
  
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors (62+), $3 for students, and
children are admitted free.  To order, contact Jen Skitzki at

ADVERTISING:
  
 
  
There are advertising opportunities in the concert's program.  Prices range
from $20 for business card size to $300 for full page.  All proceeds go to
GHHS bands.  Your message will reach 500-700 NE OH community members,
including parents, students, teachers, city officials, and arts patrons.
