SPOTLIGHTS OPEN THE 2008 SEASON   WITH “STEEL MAGNOLIAS”   
  The Broadview Heights Spotlights Community Theater is opening its 2008 season with the comedic drama, “Steel Magnolias”, by Robert Harling.  All shows will be at the Cultural Arts Building on the Broadview Center property, 9543 Broadview (1/2 mile south of Rt. 82).  The Cultural Arts Building is next to the Police Department.   Show dates are Fridays and Saturdays, February 29 through March 15 at 7:30 p.m.  There will be a Sunday matinee on March 9th at 3:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $9 for students and senior citizens.  Reservations are strongly suggested and may be made by calling 440/526-4404.  The show is the Spotlights’ annual coffee house production, where patrons may partake of a complimentary beverage bar and choose from an assortment of luscious desserts for a nominal cost during intermission.
    
  The show is directed by Kim Mihalik and features Thelma Huttner, Karen Johnston, Diane Pedee, Claudia Schieve, Susan DiDino, and Susan Kobylinski.  The Spotlights Theater proudly acknowledges its sponsors:  Marymount Hospital Medical Center, Michael Angelo’s Bakery, Caruso’s Coffee, Illusions Unlimited, and Eddie’s Creekside.
