Many NeOhioPal subscribers I've had the privilege of meeting,working with,or once in a blue moon,pissing off,tell me through casual conversation of something arts related they would like to pursue and yet don't know where to start.

When I mention NeOhPal,as a resource,I've heard an excuse for not posting that is almost understandable.On-line stage fright.They think that by posting what they deem might be perceived as a trivial need,announcement,or inquiry,they will embarass themselves in front of the 4500 mostly compassionate subscribers who would love to help them in a heartbeat.

In my past posting about bringing feature films to Cleveland,I risked being perceived as naive,ill-informed,or just plain loopy.
Guilty as charged!!
But it brought me notes of interest from some of Ohio's(not just Cleveland) most powerful film professionals.People offering to make introductions on my behalf.This last week I've been exposed to Film-Producing 101.A candy store of positive replies hit my inbox.

All because I went out on a limb,and and did not give a crap about how I might be perceived.My posting was industry related,and typos aside,NeOhioPal became,once again the resource it was designed to be.

Due to a great-paying gig whose audition notice I found here-one that requires longer hair,I have skipped my trip to Great Clips this month and have added the cost of the haircut to my voluntary donation.

By the way,Directors,I can cry on cue.
