Momik is a nine year-old boy and a member of a very loving and close
family. His father and mother are Polish Jews and Holocaust survivors.
This powerful and uplifting play brings the story of Momik's childhood
in 1950s Jerusalem and of his investigations into the Holocaust,
triggered by arrival of his long lost grandfather Anshel, a survivor of
the German concentration camps. Momik is the only child who is raised in
an atmosphere of love and kindness, but along with silence and hidden
pain. Grown-ups refuse to answer Momik's questions about their life and
he creates an imaginary land where his family happily lived before the
war. Momik is a visually rich, sad, funny and uplifting show played by
Gesher's most acclaimed actors.

Appropriate for the whole family - for all ages.

"No doubts. London was taken aback by Gesher's

performances. Artistic Director E. Arye has created one

of the very best theatre ensembles in the world..."

                            Observer, London

"...As always in this theatre: very touching story,

brilliant production, wonderful acting"

                            Washington Post
