[NEohioPAL] Celebrate March Women's History Month with a Spiritual Festival!

Sacred Space, a local tax exempt organization dedicated to personal and spiritual growth, is celebrating March Women's History month with "Women's Art: Women's Vision Brigit Festival" Friday, March 7, 2008, at the Woman's Club Pavilion, 14532 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio.
   
  Brigit is an ancient role model for modern women.  She was a leader and revolutionary, healer, and wisewoman.  The Celtic festival of the beginning of Spring (Imbolc) celebrates the feast day of St. Brigit of Ireland.  Come celebrate with us!
   
  The art exhibit and sale shall begin at 6 p.m. followed by a performance at 7 p.m. including traditional tribal dance by the Spirit of Life Dancers.  Music, story, and poetry will be performed by folks within the Sacred Space organization along with jazz/blues artist Gloria O'Neil-Savage.
   
  The Spirit of Life Dancers under the direction of CeCe Miller are the receipients of the 2008 Tyrian Artists of the Year Award presented by The Tyrian Network.  The Dancers perform traditional tribal belly dance along with spiritual dance using veils and hip scarves to traditional middle eastern and other spiritual music.
   
  Seating is limited.  Tickets are $5 for advanced registration, $7 at the door the day of the show, and $40 for a table for 8.  E-mail sacredspace at cox.net.  In the interest of environmental stewardship, please bring your own mug for beverages.
