  Update

As a result of last postponement of last Saturday's concert, we have been able to add a very special guest to the David Cousins concert on Saturday March 15Th,

  ALEX BEVAN!
Alex will perform the songs that have made him a legend in North East Ohio as well as a preview of the material for his rescheduled concert on April 5Th..

First known as the "Skinny Little Boy" from Cleveland, Ohio who came to "Chase your wimmin' and drink your beer", Alex has made a name for himself through out the Northern Ohio music scene.
Drawing on his deep skill set of imaginative and honest song writing combined with an agile, improvisational wit that dovetail wonderfully with his flawless guitar slinging, Alex never fails to delight and charm audiences no matter what the venue.
His recordings span the gamut from folk to folk rock and pop to children's educational music and he has won a number of awards for his commercial efforts in radio and television. Alex's creative works have also contributed to documentary film scores.
With the release of "Fall & Angels" Alex shows us a deeper side of the "Low Tech Troubadour". You need to see him to believe him and hear him to know him.

     DAVID COUSINS of The Strawbs
  Saturday, March 15 -- 8:00 PM

Leader/founder of the Strawbs, Dave Cousins may be the most talented Dylan-influenced songwriter to come out of England. His work fairly resounds of both rebellion and antiquity, as though he were writing protest songs of the 18th or 19th centuries. Haunting melodies abound, carried by his raspy and sincere voice. Its beautiful sound is marred only by the same problem that plagued the Strawbs -- his difficulty in finding proper musical backup and settings. ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide

Advance discount tickets: $15.00 Day of Show: $20.00: General admission
Tickets for David Cousins' First Solo Tour are on sale at Spin More Records & Woodsy's Music in Kent, on-line at www.kentstage.org or at 1-800-595-4849.
