Hi all -
I know the poster of this item means well, and I share his anger at  
the big oil companies, but the oil economic market is way more  
complicated than outlined below.

  This particular injunction against "Middle East Oil" has been  
around the web for about 6 years.   Snopes says the statistics  
presented are out of date and/or out of line...  Snopes and company  
researched this piece in 2002 and they offer the correct facts as of  
that time.
If you go to the snopes address below and follow the links to the DoE  
site and the link marked recent figures you can get some info that is  
more up-to-date.

  I'm no expert. I find it pretty confusing. The truth seems to be  
that most of the big companies buy crude oil from multiple sources  
all over the world.

The list is huge but you can see what the sources of their crude oil  
are.
