The Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Marketplace


We are hosting a round of Auditions for our 2008 Season.
We are looking for actors of all types and ages to join our volunteer cast. 
The cast will go through an intensive training program that will consist of
improv, character development, stage combat, street performance techniques,
as well as period dancing and song.  

Auditions will be held at the Faire Office  March 29 and 30 from 10am-3pm.
We are located on State Route 534, 7 miles south of I-90 (take the Geneva
exit)

Rehearsals will be held on Saturdays and Sundays  from 10am-4pm,  starting
on May 10th. The Faire opens July 5th and runs every Saturday and Sunday for
6 weekends.
You must present us with a 1 minute monologue that best suits your talent.
If you would like to be considered for a singing role, please prepare a
short song. You are not required to do a period piece, (i.e. Shakespeare).
Modern pieces are fine as long as it shows off your talents. (Remember too,
what you are auditioning for.)
