Join us for these exciting events in May:

Meet some special women when Bette Lou Higgins presents GREAT Lakes Ladies on Tuesday, May 13 at 7p.m at the Renaissance Center; 26376 John Road in Olmsted Township.  This storytelling program features  women like Abigail Becker who rescued several sailors off the treacherous Long Point Shoals of Lake Erie and  Maebelle Mason, who saved a man from drowning by the Mamajuda Light in the Detroit River when she was fourteen years old. This program will be repeated on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 7p.m. for the North Ridgeville Arts Council at the North Ridgeville Public Library; 35700 Bainbridge Rd.; in North Ridgeville. Both performances are FREE and open to the public.

MEET MARGARET BOURKE-WHITE on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 12:00p.m. at the Parma South Presbyterian Church, 6155 Pearl Rd in Parma Hts and find out about the Cleveland Photographer's adventures during WWII.. Alisa Riccardi will portray Margaret in this first-person character program which is open to the public. Tickets are $3.00/person. For additional information call 440-886-0658.
