[NEohioPAL] Cleveland Play House and Great Lakes Theatre Festival Annual Open Call- Call for Appointment Starting Tomorrow

The Cleveland Play House and Great Lakes Theatre Festival announce their
annual open auditions, scheduled for Sunday, May 11 and Monday, May 12 from
10AM to 5PM at the Cleveland Play House, 8500 Euclid Avenue.

Anyone who wishes to audition is invited to do so, though the auditions will
be by appointment only. Those who are not members of Actors' Equity
Association will be given appointment times once all AEA members have been
accommodated. Members of AEA are encouraged to come Monday, May 12. To
schedule an appointment, please call 440 779 2001 starting Saturday, April
26 at 10AM. Leave your name, phone number, preferred day, and whether you
would prefer a morning or afternoon appointment. You will receive a call
back with your appointment time. 

For the audition, you will be given three minutes to do as you wish. Most
people split the time between two contrasting monologues. You are also
welcome to sing. If you would like piano accompaniment, please schedule your
appointment for the afternoon.

The theatres will not see children under 18. Each theatre will announce
auditions for its respective Christmas presentation at a later time.

The auditions are being generously facilitated by Actors' Equity
Association, in cooperation with Cleveland Theatre Collective. Artistic
directors from other theatres which offer AEA contracts will be invited to
attend.
