Cleveland, OH – Back By Popular Demand…The Bang and The Clatter Theatre Company announces the re-mounting of the Ohio premier of Blackbird, by Adam Rapp. Originally staged at The Bang and The Clatter Theatre Company in March of 2006, shortly after the theatre’s birth, Blackbird quickly became an audience favorite. Because of patron growth and demand, Blackbird is being brought back to give it a larger audience and give Northeast Ohio another chance to catch this show before it flies away again.

Tune in your radios to 90.3 WCPN to hear a live interview with Co-Founders Sean Derry and Sean McConaha, and playwright, Adam Rapp on the Dee Perry radio show: Around Noon, this coming Monday, May 19th, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

Blackbird, directed by Sean McConaha, features Sean Derry and Alanna Romansky. Performances run from May 24th through June 14th Mondays at 8pm, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm at The Bang and The Clatter – Sometimes In The Silence…Theatre Company at 224 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114.

All Tickets are $15. All students and seniors have the option to ‘Pay As You Can’ for
each show. For ticket reservations, call the box office at 330.606.5317. Make your reservations now for this powerful play that will stay with you long after you’ve left your seats.

“Blackbird could not paint a much bleaker picture of human existence. Yet from its ashes, fueled by love, a phoenix rises.”
-CurtainUp

"...a terrifically impressive debut for Adam Rapp. Froggy and Baylis are two wrecked drifters in a New York squat...the squalor here is both appalling and cryingly funny."

-The Independent
