This coming Monday, June 23, is the final "pay-as-you-can" Monday
performance for John Belluso's poignant play, A Nervous Smile. Dealing with
human foibles of four people, this play is a wonderful mix of pathos and
comedy. The four people are: Eileen (Dede Klein); her husband Brian (Michael
Gatto); their single-mom friend Nicole (Susan Lucier); and Blanka (Linda
Ryan), the Russian caretaker of their daughter. Eileen and Brian's daughter
Emily has cerebral palsy - so does Nic's son (both are teenagers). Although
you never see the children, they are discussed throughout the play in
various ways: with love, hate, and regret. 

Come see this excellent play either this weekend or next - OR on Monday,
