Improv for Beginners

This workshop will be a fun intro focussing on the basics of improv.

Bios: 
Steve Briggs was trained at The Second City and was a mainstage performer with the Ground Floor Theater. He has also performed with Public Squares, Olvier Twisted, NOISe, Attractive Nuisance and Tuesday's @ 9. Steve has an enthusiasm and understanding of improv that makes those that work with him better. Currently Steve lives in Buffalo, but continues to be asked back to play with Torque and FWB Improv.
 
Kim Pride is a graduate of Bowling Green and was trained at The Second City. She was a founding member of NOISe, and has also worked on stage with a variety of groups including: The Village Idiots, The Public Squares, Sudden Impulse, and Ground Floor Theater. Kim is a skilled teacher who excels at distilling and explaining the essence of improv. Currently she can be seen performing regularly with FWB Improv, Torque, and at The Tuesday Jams. 
 

Bio: 
Nate Cockerill received a B.A. in Theater at Otterbein College and interned at the Chicago Second City. He later graduated from the Second City Conservatory and went on to teach and act on the mainstage for Second City. He’s appeared at Dobama Theater, on PBS, Hilarities 4th Street Theater, and various clubs and festivals, as well as in TV commercials and films, including Spiderman 3. He was a founding member of the musical improv troupe Oliver Twisted and director emeritus for the Public Squares. Most recently he has been working on a graphic novel for Image Comics and play testing and development for ZMAN games. He currently directs and acts in a sketch troupe called The Regime.
