[NEohioPAL] Short-term Dance Teacher Needed

Broadway School of Music & the Arts is conducting a children's morning arts program at a church in Broadway/Slavic Village, and has need of a dance teacher to fill an unexpected gap in another teacher's schedule.  The dates are Weds. through Friday, July 16 - 18, and July 23 - 25.  The teaching hours are 9:30 a.m. - Noon.  This free program for low-income neighborhood kids ages 8 - 15 started today.  There are two groups, each of around 10 children, who are rotating between visual arts and dance; each class is 70 minutes.  The current teacher is teaching ballroom dance (with related etiquette skills).  To vary the program, I am looking for an experienced teacher who could introduce the children to a different form of movement during the six days and times above.   The teacher must enjoy working with children and create a supportive learning environment, even for a short period of time, in which they have fun and feel successful.

This is a grant-funded program; the pay is $35/hour.
