THE HISTORIC CENTRUM THEATRE GRAND OPENING 
 
 
(JUNE 2008) The Historic Centrum grand opening is presented during the Coventry Streets Arts Fair held July 17-20, 2008 in Coventry Village in Cleveland Heights, OH. This four day event at The Historic Centrum has a variety of theatrical performances from local professionals.  
 
 
Thursday, July 17, 2008 and Friday, July 18, 2008, local director / performer F.A.Taylor will give a spine-tingling performance as THE VAGABOND, a mystical drama illustrated through poetry, song, and dance. He takes us back to the days of “Egyptian Kings” and “Gangsters” that really swing. Bone-chilling tales that will make you scream! Rainy’s Institute Summer Youth Program will join the cast of THE VAGABOND as they passes through the portals of time. Performances: Thursday, July 17, 2008 and Friday, July 18, 2008 (8:00pm)
 
Saturday, July 19, 2008, Columbian dancer, model, and entertainer, JHOANNA, will be teaching salsa dance workshops for beginner-intermediate dancers. Beginner salsa dance class will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm. Intermediate salsa dance class will be held from 3:00pm-4:00pm. The night will end in a social dance 4:00pm-6:00pm. Students are invited to dance and mingle. All ages and skills levels are welcome. 
 
Sunday, July 20, 2008, grand opening festivities at The Historic Centrum will conclude with performances from THE ROCKING ROBOTS and LISA K.LOCKE. THE ROCKING ROBOTS have performed in such Cleveland events as Boo at the Zoo, Kids Fest, A Taste of Cleveland, The Rib Burn Off, Ingenuity Festival, and in New York at The Apollo Theatre. Professional dancer LISA K.LOCKE, originally from Switzerland, will dazzle the stage with a modern dance piece. LISA K. LOCKE Cleveland credits include Ingenuity Festival and Cleveland Public Theatre’s Black Box performance series. 
Stay around for the whole night to see MISS CLEVELAND 2008 and her ROYALTY COURT make a guest appearance!
