OHIO YOUTH BALLET TO HAVE AUDITIONS FOR MALE DANCER

            

Audition time: 2 p.m.

The Ohio Youth Ballet has received a grant from ArtsinStark, the County Arts
Council, to help promote the Kimono Exhibit coming to Canton in the spring. 

The non-profit pre-professional ballet company and dance team seeks a male
dancer with classical ballet and modern dance experience to accompany
talented youth dancers with some exciting new choreography by Natalya
Vyashenko-Connor, OYB artistic director. Dancer will be paid for rehearsal
and performance time.

The mission of the Ohio Youth Ballet is "bringing dance to the people" and
has outreach programs at local schools, libraries, nursing homes, festivals
and other venues.

* The Ohio Youth Ballet will have another audition in September for boys and
girls ages 8 through 20.
