    SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS
  Part Time Dance Instructor

   
  Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for Part Time Dance Instructors. 
   
  Qualified Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from an accredited institution or be in their last year of obtaining such a degree. Graduate experience and/or previous teaching experience a plus. This position involves daytime, evenings and some weekend hours starting in the Fall of 2008. Hourly rate is based upon experience and can range from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour.
   
  Candidates for the dance instructor position will work closely with the Dance Department Coordinator and will be able to work with students of all ages and skill levels. Applicants must be knowledgeable in classical ballet, jazz and tap.  Previous experience in hip-hop and modern is a plus. Applicants must be professional, display leadership qualities and be able to teach younger students.  Excellent problem solving skills, organizational skills and interpersonal communications a must. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment.
