Weathervane Playhouse Announces

AUDITIONS - BY APPOINTMENT for the musical

Children of Eden

Weathervane Playhouse will hold AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT

for the musical Children of Eden by Stephen Schwartz.

13 performances: October 9 - 26, 2008.

Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane (in the Valley off Merriman Road)

Monday, August 11 between 7 - 11 p.m.

Tuesday, August 12 between 7 - 11 p.m.


Callbacks: Wednesday, August 13 from 7 - 11 p.m. starting with dance call.


Preparation:

Prepare a song with accompaniment: Upbeat or Ballad, may be from the show.


Cast Requirements:

10 - 12 Women, All ages

10 - 12 Men, All ages

2 - 4 Girls, Ages 7 - 12

2 - 4 Boys, Ages 7 - 12

Terri Kent (Director) has served eight seasons as Artistic Director of Porthouse Theatre having directed shows including Anything Goes, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Spitfire Grill, West Side Story and others. She is a member of AEA and AFTRA and has performed regionally and internationally. Ms. Kent has also directed locally at Cain Park, the Halle Theatre and the Working Theatre and served as Assistant Director and Movement Coach for a number of productions at Great Lakes Theater Festival. She is a Professor in the School of Theatre and Dance at Kent State University where she heads the musical theatre program.
