FALL 2008 SATURDAY THEATER SCHOOL CLASSES
(Saturdays, October 4 – November 22, 2008, eight weeks)
At Northwest Family Rec Center, 1730 Shatto Ave., Akron, OH 44313


10:10-10:55 AM – CREATIVE DRAMA - AGE 4-6 (K) $68
Young children express themselves through creative exercises, games, movement and stories.

11-12 NOON – BEGINNING ACTING - AGE 7-9 $72
Have fun gaining self confidence through learning basic acting skills and taking direction.

10 AM-11 AM – MONOLOGUES AND DIALOGUES – AGE 10 & UP $72
Learn how to prepare and present yourself at an audition, and how to interact with another character on stage.

11AM-12 NOON – COMMEDIA DELL’ARTE – AGE 12 & UP $80*
Enjoy exploring the roots of comedy through building masks, a “stock” character, and working on improvisation, slapstick, and scene work.
*Materials included

All classes will perform in our end of term demonstration for families and friends on Saturday, November 22.
