Auditions for Stow Players production of HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES by John Guare on Sept. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, directed by William Morgan.  Auditions held at 7:30pm each evening at The Heritage Barn in Silver Springs Park at 5328 Young Road Stow, Ohio. The cast calls for 5 males and 6 females.
 
The story is a dark comedy about a middle aged zoo attendant, Artie, who has a lingering dream of being a songwriter.  His hopes are buoyed by his mistress who lives downstairs and the story takes place during the Pope's visit to New York.  Throw in a Hollywood producer, an AWOL son, a crazy wife, three sightseeing nuns and a bomb and you've got an "Enchantingly zany and original farce." N.Y. Times.
